What we do

Electrical services across Glasgow

Everything from a single socket to a full commercial fit-out. If it is on a circuit, it is work we take on — and every job leaves with the certification to prove it was done properly.

House Rewires

A rewire is the biggest electrical job most homes ever have, and it is the one where the difference between a careful electrician and a fast one shows up for the next thirty years.

EV Charger Installation

An EV charge point is a continuous high load on a dedicated circuit, and the installation stands or falls on what happens before the unit goes on the wall: the load assessment, the earthing arrangement and the state of the supply.

Why MMM Electrical

The difference is in what you do not see

Anyone can make a light come on. The gap between a good electrical installation and a poor one is in the cable routing, the terminations, the testing and the paperwork — all the parts a customer never looks at.

  • Professional workmanship

Cable runs straight, accessories level, terminations torqued. The parts you never see are done the same way as the parts you do.

  • Clear quotations

A written quote with the scope set out line by line, so you can see what is included before you commit and there is nothing to argue about after.

  • Reliable communication

You get told when we are coming, when we are running late, and what we found. Calls and messages get answered.

  • High-quality finishes

Chases made good, boards reinstated, holes filled. The room is left ready for a decorator, not left for you to sort out.

  • Modern electrical solutions

RCBO boards, LED and smart lighting, EV charging, CCTV and data — installations built for how properties are actually used now.

  • Domestic and commercial

The same standard on a single socket in a tenement flat as on a full retail fit-out.

  • Clean and respectful working

Dust sheets down, floors protected, tools off the floor at the end of the day, and nobody smoking or blaring music in your house.

  • Jobs finished properly

Work is priced with enough time in it to be done right. Rushing a job is how faults get built into an installation.

How it works

Four steps, no surprises

  1. Call or send the details

Tell us what the job is. For most work a phone call and a couple of photos is enough to know whether it needs a site visit.

  2. Free quote in writing

We look at the job, then send a written quote with the scope set out. No obligation, and no pressure afterwards.

  3. Booked in

You get a date and an arrival time. If anything changes you hear it from us before the day, not on it.

  4. Done and certified

The work is completed, tested and left clean, with the certificate issued by email.

In writing

Everything that matters, on paper

The three things that cause arguments on electrical jobs are price, scope and certification. All three are written down before and after the work, so there is nothing to dispute later.

A written quote

Scope set out line by line before you commit, valid for 30 days. If something concealed turns out to be different from what was described, you hear about it and agree the cost before we carry on — not afterwards on the invoice.

Full test results

Every circuit measured and the readings recorded on the schedules that go with your certificate. You can see what was tested rather than take it on trust.

The right certificate

An Electrical Installation Certificate for new work, a Minor Works Certificate for alterations, or an EICR for inspection and testing. Issued by email as standard, which is what a solicitor, letting agent or insurer will ask for.

Questions

Common questions about electrical work in Glasgow

Do you charge for quotes?

No. Quotes are free and there is no obligation. For most jobs a phone call and a couple of photos on WhatsApp is enough; larger work gets a site visit.

Which areas of Glasgow do you cover?

The whole city — West End, Southside, East End and city centre — plus Bearsden, Milngavie, Giffnock, Newton Mearns, Paisley, Renfrew, Clydebank, East Kilbride, Hamilton, Motherwell, Stirling and Falkirk.

Do you do emergency call-outs?

Yes. Call and you will get a straight answer about when we can be with you. If it is a burning smell or heat at the consumer unit, switch off at the main switch first.

Do you work on both houses and business premises?

Both. Domestic work from single sockets to full rewires, and commercial work including offices, retail, bars and restaurants, landlords and property managers.

Is your work certified?

Every job leaves with the appropriate certificate — an Electrical Installation Certificate for new circuits and installations, a Minor Works Certificate for alterations, or an EICR for inspection and testing.
