Quotations
Quotes are free and valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. A quote is based on the information available at the time; where work is concealed (behind plaster, under floors, inside an existing installation) and turns out to differ materially from what was described, we will tell you before carrying out additional work and agree the cost with you first.
Work and certification
All work is carried out to BS 7671 and the relevant Scottish building standards. The appropriate certificate is issued on completion.
Payment
Payment terms are set out on your quote. Larger works may be staged with payments against agreed milestones.
Guarantee
Workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion. Materials and equipment carry their manufacturer’s warranty.
Cancellation
Where a contract is agreed at your home, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, unless you have asked us in writing to start sooner.
