A kitchen needs appliance circuits sized to what is actually going in, isolation where you can reach it, and lighting that works on the worktop rather than behind you. A bathroom needs the zones respected, the right IP ratings and correct supplementary bonding where it applies.
We first fix to the fitter’s plan, work to their programme, and come back for second fix so the room is finished, tested and certified without holding anyone up.

Do I need a new circuit for an induction hob?
Usually yes — most induction hobs need a dedicated circuit sized to the appliance. We check the rating against the existing supply before quoting.
Can any light fitting go in a bathroom?
No. BS 7671 divides bathrooms into zones, each with a minimum IP rating. A fitting suitable above a basin may not be suitable over a bath or in a shower enclosure.
When should the electrician come during a kitchen fit?
Twice — first fix once the old kitchen is out and positions are set, second fix once the units and appliances are in. We work to your fitter’s dates.
Can you fit an electric shower to my existing setup?
Often, but a shower is a large dedicated load. We check the main fuse, board capacity and cable size first, and tell you if anything needs upgrading.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. New circuits get an Electrical Installation Certificate; alterations to existing circuits get a Minor Works Certificate.
